Throwback Thursday

As I was skimming through old photos on facebook, I came across a few gems from way back when. I'm kind of excited to share them again - links to original blog posts included. Ready?

I snapped a photo with Robin and The Flash At Six Flags Magic Mountain (the best place on earth). Robin was standing rather close to me...kind of awkward.

went snowboarding with these fantastic people! Mr. Shady Todd Brady, Liz Liz Beagles, and Sister Amanda Beagles. Not pictured are Olas, Danny Boy, E-Dawg, Megan and Heather. I think this is also the day that we met Coventry.

I ate a large meatball (delicious) while Janelle coined the term "photo bomb". Well done, Nelle.

I gave blood for the first and last time. Shortly after donating, I passed out in the hall at school.

Scott split his head open by running into the corner of a wall at work.
The Instacare doc was nice enough to glue his face back together.

Scott and Jeff drove to Arizona to watch Boise State win the Fiesta Bowl.

Scott and Jeff ran the Rex Lee Run. It was supposed to be a 10k but the course was short.
This year, the course really is 10k and they are running it together again.

While vacationing at the Oregon coast we reenacted Jack and Rose on the Titanic.

We also flew this awesome kite on the beach, but the string got really tangled.
Scott sneezed just as we took the photo, so that makes it a favorite of mine.

We went to the aquarium and our awesome husbands gave us shoulder rides back to the car.

We said goodbye to some pals (Olas, Coventry, Erin and Liz) before moving to Iowa.

We saw Paul McCartney in concert. It was fantastic. Fantastic!

A busy month for us before moving. We took this awesome family photo.
Not sure why it didn't make the mantel...

Scott and I enjoyed the view of the bay in San Francisco.

We also had a great time checking out a Coast Guard helicopter.
My brother-in-law is a flight mechanic on the choppers they use for rescues.

We moved into this handsome place in Des Moines, Iowa.
A very old house broken into apartments. Very quaint.

Janelle became enamored with the life of a medical student while visiting us for the weekend.

Iowa is cold. Our apartment was cold. Scott studied like this.

kept warm with my footie pajamas. Fun side note, these still fit when I was 9 months pregnant.

I lead my brothers in dancing The Macarena at our sister's wedding.

Lisa and Melanie loved visiting Des Moines University - more specifically the OMM lab.

We visited Chicago and loved it. This was at the Museum of Science and Industry.

My cousin Skyler and I snapped a selfie at my sister's reception in Utah. He and I are the same age and have been close all of our lives. I can still talk to him about anything.

Scott had surgery to remove the cyst in his neck.

We went to the Iowa State Fair. I just realized that I never blogged about it. Oh my.
Look forward to that.
